Welcome to First Kids!
We believe parents play the primary role in shaping their children’s faith. We desire to come alongside families—equipping and encouraging them as they guide their children to follow Christ.
Together, we aim to help kids grow in Christ-like character, take ownership of their faith, and learn what it means to live a life of love and service to Him.
We are dedicated to loving, protecting, and caring for every child entrusted to us. Our desire is to reflect God’s love by meeting their needs in a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment.
Check out some ways to get your kids involved:
Sunday Mornings:
Sunday School/Small Groups: Children are placed in age-appropriate classes where they learn about God’s Word through Bible study, games, music, crafts, and other engaging activities. These classes utilize Discipleland's Preschool curriculum and Lifeway's Gospel Project curriculum. Classes are defined below. Note: 1st-6th grade meets in small groups, then in a large group, and then finishes in small groups during the Sunday School/Small Group hour.
Babies - 1yr olds
2-3 yr olds
4yr olds-Kindergarten
1st -3rd grade
4th - 6th grade
Morning Worship: Babies-3-year-olds continue learning in the Extended Session, and 4-year-olds-Kindergarten continue learning in Children's Church.
Note: In the event of a 5th Sunday of the month, there is no Children's Church. Students in 1st-6th grade attend Worship with their families.
Wednesday Nights
Stars: 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., STARS is our children's music ministry, where children learn to lead worship and share the gospel through music.
Midweek Activities: 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Children are placed in age-appropriate classes where they learn about God's Word through activities with an emphasis on missions. These classes utilize the WMU Mission Friends curriculum and Lifeway's TeamKid curriculum.
Classes are defined below:
Nursery (Babies-2yr olds)
Mission Friends (3 yr olds - Kindergarten)
TeamKid (1st-6th grade)
Special Events:
Mission Ignition: A one-day hands-on missions experience for kids in 1st through 6th grade, where they will learn about different ways they can be involved in missions. Children will meet missionaries from all over the world, worship together, play team-building games, and participate in Bible centered activities.
Date: MARCH 7, 2026
Crosstimbers Children's Camp: an overnight camp for children who have completed 3rd -6th grade. CrossTimbers is an amazing time of Bible study, ropes courses, target sports, water activities, swimming, worship, missions opportunities, and much more.
Dates: Summer 2026 - Dates will be available in November.
